90's Hip Hop Throwback

I know a lot of people have heard of Arrested Development, but your mind probably immediatly pictures the tv series which is funny but I'm here to write about the hip hop group from the early 90's founded by "Speech and Headliner as a positive, Afrocentric alternative to the gangsta rap" . Its one of the few groups to promote sustainablity and environemental concern (see track "greener") and I think their dedication to their message will always stand out in hip hop, especially in defining alternative hip hip and southern hip hop in general.

A classic album no doubt. My favorite song is split between "Everyday People" wchich samples Sly and the Family chorus and "Tennesse" which samples a vocal Princes "Alphabet Street."
